Dr. Joshua Owulo Odey

Joshua Owulo Odey is a lecturer at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria.  He has extensive expertise and experience in Human Resource Management and Administration.  Prior to joining Nnamdi Azikiwe University, he was a lecturer at National Open University, Karu Study Center, Abuja, and was also staff of Diamond Bank Head Office, Lagos.

He had his Doctorate degree in Business Administration at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Nasarawa State, Nigeria, Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Nasarawa State University Keffi, Nigeria, and a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business Administration from same University and Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and Management from Lagos City Polytechnic Ikeja, Lagos Nigeria.

He is a member of various professional bodies, Chartered member of Nigeria Institute of Management and Graduate member of Portfolio Management Institute.

Joshua is extremely passionate about giving back to his country – Nigeria, through improving the education and empowerment of youths. He has presented training workshops to presented training workshops to Federal Civil servants working with Federal Ministry of Finance and elementary and secondary teachers on topics such as Classroom Management, Behaviour modification vs. Flogging and How to work with slow learners. He is currently working and training a small group of volunteers in Abundant Virtue Nigeria on Customer Relations with Youths on entrepreneurship skills and on how to start, run and maintain small businesses.

His core values are Integrity, Ethics, Honesty, Initiative, Leadership, Good Governance and he is a consummate mentor of young people.  Above all, his Faith in God, his creator has carried him through many experiment and tribulations.
